I would love to be able to exclude serie episodes from my advanced search results

I'm using IMDb as a way to find the movies/series I would like to watch. I use advanced search to search on a specific genre and will then refine with another genre. By doing this I get a list of movies/series but I also get a ton of serie episodes. It's hard to navigate through all those episodes and find the movies. I would love it if there would be a little button/checkbox to hide the individual episodes from the search results.

I hope you like my idea and I would love to see this implemented.

On the Advanced Title Search page (http://www.imdb.com/search/title):
Select TV Series under Title Type, then select the other criteria for your search:

Here is an example of a search for TV Series:

Most Popular Action TV Series Released 2000 Or Later With User Rating Between 6.0 And 10 and At Least 1,000 Votes

A very knowledgeable, long time IMDb user, MayorDefacto, sent me this PM with additional information.

it seems the OP there wanted to include both Features AND TV series but exclude TV episodes. To accomplish this he could individually check both Features and TV Series in Advanced Title Search (and everything else except TV episodes if that's all he was worried about) OR he could select only TV series for the search and then manually negate that parameter by placing an exclamation point (!) in front of it, turning

http://www.imdb.com/search/title?genres=action&num_votes=1000,&release_date=2000,&title_...

into

http://www.imdb.com/search/title?genres=action&num_votes=1000,&release_date=2000,&!title...

The negate operator can be used with other parameters to reverse their result, so I like to mention that option whenever discussing exclusion in Advanced Title Search (ATS).
