I Want to Clearly See the Ratings!

I use IMDb a lot on my iPhone, and I hope this idea can maybe be implemented some day as it would help me (and probably a lot of others) out a lot. Wow, I say a lot a lot.

I have two ways of keeping track of my movie and TV show library: the Watchlist and the Ratings. I don't use custom lists and I don't plan to. I use the Watchlist to mark/tick/choose things I'd like to watch or am currently watching (like Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead) and I use the Ratings to obviously rate things I have watched. This is probably how everyone (if not the majority) uses IMDb to keep track of their library, yah?

My query, however, is that while you can easily see the things you've ticked/marked for your Watchlist (as you scroll through the app on the iPhone [which is probably the same for Android as well]) you can't always see the ones you've rated. Say I go to an actor's page and see their full list of works, there's no blue-purple rating under the titles I've rated indicating I've rated them, but say I were to go to the trending TV shows section and scroll through, this feature I'm talking about is already implemented there.

So I'm just asking, after this giant rant, that you be able to clearly see the titles you've rated everywhere you go on IMDb. That's all. Thank-you for your time!

Hi Madeleine,

The web version of IMDb has the "seen" feature for people. Unfortunately, this is not currently available for IMDb apps for Android, Kindle, iPhone, iPad or IOS devices.

For example, let's assume you are a fan of John Wayne and wish to which films connected to him that you rated or seen.

On John Wayne's main page on the right side towards the bottom, you should see:
How Much Have You Seen?
How much of John Wayne's work have you seen?
If you click John Wayne's work, you should see:

You can select John Wayne's work by role (actor, director, producer, ...) and by title type (movies, short films, TV episodes, TV movies). You can also see which titles you've rated and rate titles.

This would be a great feature to implement on the IMDb apps. However, it may not be feasible for the IMDb technical team to do so.

This is a good suggestion and I support it too, although part of the problem is not over-crowding the interface for general users.

While this is not strictly what was suggested, the functionality is available on the iOS app today,  just not switched on by default.  If you navigate to a filmography page, there's a sort / filter icon in the upper right as highlighted below:

Click this and choose to sort by your rating (you can also filter to just movies at the same time):

and ta-dah! (titles for which you have not voted sort to the bottom):

You know, Col, I think you may have just sorted my problem! It's definitely not what I suggested, but it's a good substitute! Thank-you very much!
