So, when I was little, I saw this asian movie about a little girl who had died in her village. The village has these two magical fish, I don't know specifically, but I think they were Koi. Anyways, the magic fish, one represented death and the other represented life, were glowing fish that had lived in a pond near the village. The little girl's body was taken to the magic fish and she was set to float in the water. The parents knew that the magic fish could give life to the little girl. They asked the fish if they could do so, and the fish decided they would. So, the fish that represented life died in order to give life to the little girl, whose hair turns white as a result. Then, the little girl comes back to life and has the chance to grow into a young woman. Later, for some forgotten reason, she has to give back the life she was given back to the fish because it was needed. She sacrificed herself by going back into the water where the magic returned to the fish and the "life" fish reappeared. That's all I remember, and the movie was in color, so it's not that old. Maybe it was made in the early 2000s, most likely.
