Lester: Please provide links to the two pages you are referring to. Is one of them http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5450664/? If so, what is the other one?

Lester: These are two different kinds of pages, and it is not necessary or even possible to merge them.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5450664/ is an IMDb name page. That is the kind of page where your credits in film and television get listed.

http://www.imdb.com/user/ur41002992/ is an IMDb user activity page. That is the kind of page which represents you as a user of IMDb, where ratings you have given to films, polls you have taken, and message board posts get listed.

For comparison, Marilyn Monroe has an IMDb name page at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000054/, but no user activity page because she died long before there was an IMDb. Meanwhile, I have a user activity page at http://www.imdb.com/user/ur1879600/, but no name page because I have no film or television credits to list.

You, on the other hand, both have film and television credits and also use the database, so you have both kinds of pages.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Very grateful , I understand the difference . So if this does not usually me some kind of trouble with my credits in film and tv then preopcupare not me .

One last question if possible can help . I have many film and TV credits that are not reflected here in IMDB. I can do to raise that information or to add those credits that are not in my profile?

thank you

Lester: Yes, you should be able to get your other film and television credits listed in IMDb.

I recommend going to the IMDb page for each film or television production you worked on. If it was a television series, go to the page of the specific episode of the series that you worked on.

Once you are on the page of the correct film or television show, click "Edit page".

On the next screen, go to the line for the correct department that you worked on. I assume that this will usually be Composers or Music Department. On the appropriate line, select "Add 1 credit". Scroll down and click "Continue".

On the next screen, enter your name as:
Paredes, Lester

If you are entering a Music Department credit, you will need to provide the occupation that you performed for the production. The most common occupations in the Music Department will be listed in the "Choose" menu there, but there are many, many other possibilities. (See http://www.imdb.com/updates/field/music_department/job for a listing of the occupations currently in use.)

Also, for the Attribute box, you will normally leave that box blank. But if you were not listed in the on-screen credits of the production, you would put (uncredited). And if you were listed under a different name or form of your name other than Lester Paredes, you would indicate that in the Attribute box. For example: (as Lester J. Paredes)

If you had credits for a specific song on the Soundtrack, that would be submitted through yet a different process, for which I will refer you to the instructions at https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/guide/soundtracks for guidance.

If you have problems submitting any particular credit, please come back to this board and provide the details, and the contributors here should be able to advise you.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
