I just tried to start adding a new short called Rx (2015), and received no error message.

I also tried to add an alternate title of Rx (2013) to an existing film as a (new title)  and got a green form (ready to submit).

The title itself is not the problem. Can you give more specific details of exactly what you are trying to do (add a new film/TV Show, add an Alternate Title, or Correct a current Title)  and exactly what you entered in the form? And the exact wording o the message. Without the details, it is hard to give more detailed help.

thank you for responding...
that is great it seemed to work for you... i don't know why we couldn't get it to accept 'Rx' as a title.

anyway, yes, the title, is 'Rx'  a feature in the script development stage.

i am the screenwriter/producer:  http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0973753/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

and rob shepyer is also a screenwriter on this, as well:    http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3651113/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

Not correct.

IMDb is primarily interested only in titles that have been completed and released, but they will accept some in earlier stages provided they are convinced that there is a high probability that the project will be released.

Read IMDb New Title Submission Top Frequently Asked Questions and the linked (but easily missed) How do I add a project that's still in production/development?

Note that projects still In Development (which yours is, being in Script) need to be submitted through an IMDbPro account. Even then it will likely need some '3rd party' verification, such as articles in newspapers, before it will be accepted.

I tried entering the data you supplied, but it was not enough to even pass the basic system checks: it still needs a Plot Outline and a Genre. Once these are added, the form turns green and it is possible to submit it, but I can virtually guarantee that the Data Managers will reject it as having too little information.

If you want to attempt it again, with more data, use the IMDbPro Adding a New Title  form.
