The main page of "Dressed to Kill" states that the film's main MPAA rating is X; it is a huge mistake.

In fact, the film was released in the USA theatrically under R-rating. So it main MPAA rating is actually R .

I tried my best to find a way to edit the main rating, but I can't find a way.

To edit a rating is done from the show all certifications page not the main page:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080661/parentalguide?ref_=tt_stry_pg#certification

The main page simply copies information from the sub page.

Note however: the rating for this film is NOT wrong.

The films main rating is not from the MPAA; the films rating shown on the main page is the ORIGINAL rating.

Since the film was not released in the US first, the MPAA rating is meaningless to this question. It's original release location was the UK and the original cut of the film was rated X

The film was edited prior to its release in the US to obtain its MPAA rating of R

The cut version of the film was later released back in the UK on video with a UK:18 instead of an X

Argentina:18 / Australia:R / Australia:MA (Cable TV rating) / Brazil:14 / Canada:R / Finland:K-16 (uncut) (1996) / Finland:K-18 (cut) (1980) / France:16 / Germany:16 (re-rating) (2013) / Iceland:16 / Ireland:18 / Italy:VM18 / Netherlands:16 / New Zealand:R18 / Norway:18 (1981) / Peru:18 / Portugal:M/16 / Singapore:R21 / South Korea:18 / Sweden:15 / UK:18 / UK:X (original rating) / UK:18 (video rating) (1986) (1990) (2002) / USA:X / USA:R (cut) / West Germany:18 (original rating)

Based on the same logic, why the main page of "The Lover" states that the film's main MPAA rating is R?  ("The Lover" uncut version was rated NC-17, and the NC-17 version was released in almost all countries except USA.  On the other hand, the film was released in France before its USA release.)

So, why the the main page of "The Lover" states that the film's main MPAA rating is R, but the main page of "Dressed to Kill" states that the film's main MPAA rating is X?  It seems like a double standard for me
