The designation of a miniseries by IMDb is determined solely by the use of the keyword tv-mini-series. If a series is supposed to be shown as a miniseries, then you should add that keyword to its keywords page, and if something currently listed as a miniseries should be shown as a regular series instead, then you should delete that keyword from its keywords page.

See http://www.imdb.com/updates/guide/key... for details.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

There you go - I knew someone would be along to sort this out (or perhaps I'd have worked it out when I was feeling smarter ;) ).

Hello again,

This is for gromit82, or other competent authorities...

What you told me worked for all the projects where the ONLY keyword was "series" or "mini-series", which I managed to delete, then substitute...

As far as other projects where lots of keywords were added on top of "series" or "mini-series", the change successfully took place on the actual project's page BUT NOT on mine (acting credits). I still see the old designation next to the project's title...

My hair is turning grey trying to figure out this site...

Grateful for any info on the matter...

This kind of mismatch is common (in fact it is likely if anyone watches the changes go through), as different pages are rebuilt at different times. It'll resolve itself in a day or two.

Good to see it went through - one of these days I'll say that and it'll be something else, but not today. ;)

Can I ask a similar question: how does one treat a project that was first released as a theatrical feature film (2 hours) and then later as a much longer mini-series for TV (say 4x 50 mins)?
