How do I share my list? I can't seem to move it from private to public.

Hi Deirdre,

After opening your list, you should tap on the three dots in the upper right, then tap on "List settings":




In the list settings, you will find the option to toggle your list from Private to Public:




If you are having any trouble, please write us back with the following:

- your device and OS version
- your IMDb app version
- a detailed description or screenshot of the problem you are running into when trying the above steps

Hello Steve,
Thank you for responding.
I have been trying your above suggestion via my android on the latest imbd app (downloaded yesterday)
The app does not allow me to make my list public at all.
I can move it to public but then I am unable to save the setting unless it's set on private.
Can a list be shared if the list remains on the the private setting? If so, how can it be done, as there's not sharing option anywhere on my profile or on my list.
Does one have to use the desktop version to get the url in order to share, as there's no sharing option on there either.
Your assistance is much appreciated.

Ps. I could load pics but they will look much the same as yours...so, no help at all.

Thanks. I understand.
The problem is that I am not able to charge the setting from private to public at all. The app isn't allowing me to save the setting on public.
Even if I get it on the public setting somehow, is there a sharing option?

Hi Deirdre,

I would recommend deleting the IMDb and downloading it again to your device to see if this resolves the issue.

If you are still having the same problem, could you please write back with the following so we can investigate further?

- your device and OS version
- the name or URL of the list you are attempting to change the privacy settings for

I am having the same issue on android device any news on the issue ? My apple device works perfectly.
