How to find best matched user profile?

I understand by making my ratings public, and can see how close another user matches my ratings.  Is there a way to sort through a list of user profiles to instantly see your most closest matches?

Hi Troy Windhorst,

Currently, there is no automated to sort through a list of user profiles to see your closest matches. I believe someone suggested this capability over a year ago, but I have not found the suggestion; it's possible that my memory is faulty on this point.

In the interim, I recommend that you check through the users in your IMDb friends lists. Note: both you and the other user must have their ratings public.

Thanks for the replay.  Maybe I should repost as more of a suggestion than a question.

IMDb is THE go to source for movie and TV info.  None compare, IMO.  However, I do feel that IMDb lags a bit in the department of social interface.  Let's face, IMDb was already a star before social networking came around.  But now it's here... and IMDb needs to clean it up a big.  All the components are already here, but it's a bit convoluted.  Being social on IMDb could be woven together a little tighter... become a little more fluid.

Troy,

It probably would be a good idea to post a new thread based on what you wrote as a suggestion. Something along the lines of:

Title:
Provide a better means within IMDb for Social Networking
