When I search for the brazilian director "João Jardim" in IMDB, appear "editor" like his principal profession. How do I change this?

Hi, Thayná.

The "principal" profession is set automatically based on the total number of credits in each category. The important thing resulting to confusions like you have now is that each episode in a series counts as a separate credit.

In this case, João Jardim has 32 credits as editor, while 23 credits as director. But he was involved in 14 projects as director, and only 6 as editor.

BTW, I also consider such system being not optimal as 10-20% of cases seems strange.

Clarification to the confusion
The 14 projects as a director and 6 as an editor do not determine the ordering.
He will be listed as an EDITOR first with a higher number of 32 credits.
He will be listed as an DIRECTOR 2nd with a lower number of 23 credits.

It will change when his director totals exceed his editor credits.
I agree with MAthePA, It is about time that this be an option that can be managed in IMDb PRO.

I have 18 credits as MUSIC DEPARTMENT and 25 as COMPOSER yet MUSIC DEPARTMENT shows up first on my page.  How do I switch that?
