If so, what is your IMDb page and what credits are involved?
If not, can you please post a screen capture here so we can see what you are referring to?

The first credit you submit to IMDb for a regular cast listing must be one where your name appeared in the on-screen credits. Once you have gotten one credited entry listed, you can then submit your uncredited work to the database too.
Therefore, find one episode where you were listed in the on-screen credits. Go to the page for that episode and click "Edit page".
On the next screen, on the Cast line, select "Add 1 credit". Scroll down and click "Continue".
On the next screen, enter your name in the Name box as Reilly, Susan E. Make sure to select the "actress" button below your name.
In the Character box, enter your character name. I assume you appeared on this show playing a role rather than being yourself. However, if you were appearing as yourself, you should make sure to have the role name begin with "Herself - ..." It makes a big difference for the "Wicked Attraction" series, which does have both people appearing as themselves and people in acting roles. Someone playing the role of Detective would list her character as Detective, while a real-life detective appearing as herself would list her character as Herself - Detective.
In most cases, the Attribute box should be left blank. The most common situations in which one would fill it in would be if a person was credited on the title by a name or version of their name that differs from the name under which they are listed on IMDb -- for example, (as Sue Reilly) -- or if a person was playing a voice-only role, for which they would use the attribute (voice).
You can leave the Order box blank, unless you know the numerical order in which your name appeared in the episode credits, in which case you should enter the appropriate number.
Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, you will get a warning that says, "'Reilly, Susan E.' does not have any existing credits in this section. Are you sure this is the right person?" followed by a list of names. Select the option near the end of the list that says, "This is the first credit in this section for 'Reilly, Susan E.'." Click "Re-check these updates".
On the next screen, your data should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".
Good luck!

The text at the top of the submission is misleading. Although it says something like 3 cast credits added, it needs to be read as 3 cast credits submitted to be added.

Also, it looks like you have one of your credits as Susan Reilly (II) at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm7623033/, although you are listed as an actor there instead of an actress.
Are all three of these pages you?
The pages can be merged, but please indicate whether you normally should be credited as Susan Reilly without the middle initial, or as Susan E. Reilly with the middle initial. Please let us know the situation, and someone will be able to advise you.

Also, on the two "Wicked Attraction" episodes and the forthcoming film Shifting Grounds, how did your credit appear or will it appear: "Susan Reilly" or "Susan E. Reilly"?
I would like to try to see what went wrong with the last submission, or if it might not even have been processed at all yet.

I would like to try to figure out what went wrong with your last data submission before giving you instructions for the next one. That's why I asked for you to post the content of your recent data submission.
Also, I asked how your credit appeared or will appear on the two "Wicked Attraction" episodes and the forthcoming film Shifting Grounds: "Susan Reilly" or "Susan E. Reilly"?

Thank you for getting back to me. The first link (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5430710/ ) is not me but I see that the "wicked attraction" credits have been added to it. The second link (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm6734562/) is me but I added all of the information. The third link (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm7623033/) I have no idea where it came from but the credit is mine. Here is the link to my profile that I would like to be updated:

I could find the receipt with the reference number however. Please use the following for adding information: Susan E. Reilly.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

I understand what credits need to be moved to where, but I'm not going to post the instructions until you specifically confirm the form of name under which your name appeared on the two "Wicked Attraction" episodes. And if you don't know how your credit will appear on Shifting Grounds, at least please say how you are requesting it to appear -- as Susan Reilly or Susan E. Reilly.

Out of context, that sounds right. In context, the sentence is confusing and that part looks copied/pasted...from what, no one knows.
If gromit wants confirmation (which is what I'd have asked for) then gromit has the right to ask and not waste time doing something wrong only to have to do it again.
Also, she's said once (by submitting it this way) as "Susan Reilly" and once (what you've copied/pasted) as "Susan E. Reilly." I'd say getting a tie-breaker statement would be appropriate.
Your continually following good comments with this trolling ridiculousness is completely inappropriate. Please stop. If someone is trying to help, you chiming in with idiotic comments like that just gets in the way.
Please stop confusing threads and getting in the way when people are trying to rectify problems.

Susan, if possible, please do respond to Gromit82's question about exactly "how your credit appeared or will appear on the two Wicked Attraction episodes." (There is a good reason why he asked, and it will certainly be helpful if you can supply that information.)

You wrote: "The name I want to use is: Susan E. Reilly for everything."
But that's not what I asked. I asked how your credit appeared or will appear on the two "Wicked Attraction" episodes and the forthcoming film Shifting Grounds.
The reason I ask is that for all IMDb credits, if a person's name is listed differently on screen from their regular IMDb name, there is supposed to be an (as ...) attribute to indicate how they were credited on screen.
- Sometimes Francis Ford Coppola has dropped his middle name and just was credited as "Francis Coppola".
- When Meredith Baxter was married to David Birney, she was credited as "Meredith Baxter Birney".
- Roseanne Barr married Tom Arnold and was credited as "Roseanne Arnold", until they got divorced and she decided to be credited just as "Roseanne" again, then later went back to the name Roseanne Barr.
Your "Wicked Attraction" and Shifting Grounds credits showed up on the pages of Susan Reilly (I) at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5430710/, and Susan Reilly (II) at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm7623033/.
So that implies that somebody -- the person who submitted those credits to IMDb -- thought that those credits were credited under the name "Susan Reilly" with no middle initial.
They may have been right or they may have been wrong -- maybe you really were credited with your middle initial. They may have known that it was you, Susan E. Reilly, or maybe they didn't know. Either way, that's not the issue.
The question is: What name appeared or will appear on screen in those credits? Not what name you want to use, not what you would have preferred to appear on screen, but what name actually did appear on screen.

So, the roles can be added to the Susan E. page but need to have "(uncredited)" attribute added to the entry.
What this means is, they will be added to the page but will be suppressed unless/until at least one "credited" entry is added per http://www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?uncreditedcredits

I understand. I just heard back from the director of Shifting Grounds movie and he submitted me as Susan Elizabeth Reilly. The movie was submitted to Sundance but I don't have a copy of it yet. How would that be listed?

First, let's merge Susan Reilly (II) into Susan E. Reilly.
Go to http://www.imdb.com/name/nm7623033/ and click "Edit page".
On the next screen, on the Name Correction or Merge line, select "Add correction". Scroll down and click "Continue".
On the next screen, there will be a blank space in which to enter the corrected name. Enter it as:
Reilly, Susan E.
Un-check the box labeled "Preserve previous name on existing credits. i.e. '(as Susan Reilly)'". (This is why I kept asking how you were credited on Shifting Grounds; you are un-checking the box because you are not credited on that film as "Susan Reilly".)
In the Explanation box, enter "I am Susan E. Reilly, and the only role listed on this page was played by me and will be credited under my full name Susan Elizabeth Reilly. All of the data on both the Susan Reilly (II) page and the Susan E. Reilly page refers to me, and so the pages should be merged under the name Susan E. Reilly."
Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, you will receive two warnings. One will say, "You are about to merge two separate name pages into one. Are you sure you want to merge this person with Reilly, Susan E.? ..." That's what you want, so check the box marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway."
The other warning will say, "By unticking the box to preserve existing credits, you are implying they are incorrect. ..." The existing credit is incorrect, so check the box marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway" here as well.
Click "Re-check these updates".
On the next screen, your data should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".
Allow a few days for the correction to go through, but in the meantime please save the e-mailed receipt for your data submission.
Once the Shifting Grounds credit shows up on your main name page at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm6734562/, it will still be necessary to correct it to indicate that you were credited as "Susan Elizabeth Reilly" on that film, and also to move your reportedly uncredited roles on "Wicked Attraction". Either I or another contributor will deal with those corrections in a later message here.
Good luck!

The bad news is that once again, something went wrong. The credit is shown with an (as Susan Reilly) attribute even though it wasn't supposed to happen that way. Can you please post your last full data submission here on this message board? You can copy it out of the receipt you would have received from IMDb by e-mail immediately after sending it in. Also, please include the submission reference number -- it's an 18-digit number that will look something like 150123-123456-789000.
I would like to use the submission to try to find out why the (as Susan Reilly) attribute was included.
There are other corrections that still need to be dealt with, but I ran into a problem while testing one of them and started a separate thread to request help from the staff for that. So I will follow up once that other problem is resolved.

well progress is being made. Here is the data submission I think you are looking for but again I did not get a receipt when I submitted it.
Here is the link to my profile that I would like to be updated:

... So far I haven't received [a] receipt but I should get one for this comment right? ...No. AFAIK, such receipts are not issued in response to any messages posted here on this board. Earlier, you asked:
... do I get a receipt when I respond to you directly or do I have to be in the IMDB website to get one? ...In my experience, such receipts have been issued after I:
(1) click the "Edit page" button on a page on IMDb.com, and then
(2) go through the editing procedure to request specific changes
or additions to the information on the page, and finally
(3) click the "Submit these updates" button
to submit the changes for processing.
After I click "Submit these updates" button, then IMDb sends a receipt
(to the email address that is registered on the IMDb account that I was
using when I submitted the edit).

Regarding the underlying problem of getting your credits corrected, I started a separate thread to deal with the fact that you are listed as an actor instead of an actress on Shifting Grounds. I haven't been able to fix that properly because the film hasn't been released yet. See https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/problems-editing-a-credit. In that thread, IMDb staffer Michelle said that she has reached out to the applicable staff to investigate the problem and would let us know when she had an answer.
I don't know if this will help, but I have just submitted a "Gender: Female" correction to your page, in hopes that this will get you listed as an actress instead of an actor. (That didn't use to be effective by itself, but maybe it is now.) If that gets you listed as an actress, we can then proceed to get your "Wicked Attraction" credits moved over. Otherwise, we will need to wait for Michelle to solve the other problem (in which we can't fix your credit on the as-yet-unreleased film).
*"Nobo" is my new nickname for the user known as Nobody. It's too ambiguous to say "Nobody is correct" when I'm talking about somebody known as "Nobody". Hopefully this nickname works for him.

Note: If any staffers are reading this, the main problem we need help with is that Susan E. Reilly is not receiving her e-mail receipts for her data submissions. The rest of the issues, I should be able to advise her with (other than the one that I already started a separate thread about).

(Thanks gromit82!)
We have not seen any other complaints from user's about not receiving the Contribution Confirmation e-mail notification.
Can you check your e-mail Spam/Junk folders to see if you received the submission notifications there? Occasionally, very sensitive spam filters employed by some ISPs or mail clients are known to incorrectly flag legitimate email as spam (these are known as "false positives").
I would suggest that you check your e-mail program or ISP's spam filter settings: if they allow you to 'whitelist' (i.e. force to accept) specific email addresses or domains, make sure you explicitly allow incoming messages from these two email addresses:
do-not-reply@imdb.com
do-not-reply-here@imdb.com
If possible, you should also add our domain name @imdb.com to your spam filter's list of trusted/allowed mail domains.
If after checking your inbox (look for the dates September 10th and 26th, and October 11th) and your e-mail folders and you are still not seeing the notifications, please let us know.

Before we go any further, though, please check https://secure.imdb.com/register-imdb/changeemail and confirm that the e-mail address on that page is your usual e-mail address. If the e-mail address is correct, then just leave that page alone. But if not, then update the page to submit your correct e-mail address.
Also, please confirm that you have set your e-mail program to specifically filter e-mails from do-not-reply@imdb.com and do-not-reply-here@imdb.com into your inbox so you will see them, and thus prevent them from being mistakenly classified as junk or spam.

Go to the name page where they are currently listed, http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5430710/. Click "Edit page".
On the next screen, on the Actress Credits line, select "Correct/Delete". Scroll down and click "Continue".
On the next screen, select "Correct" in the menu to the left of both of the "Wicked Attraction" credits. Also, in the gray bar below the credits there will be a box labeled "Show name?". Check that box. Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, you will see that the name associated with those two credits is editable. For both of those, in the Name box, add your middle initial, so that instead of saying
Reilly, Susan
it will say
Reilly, Susan E.
Also, for both of those credits, in the Attribute box, enter the attribute
(uncredited)
And for each of those credits, check the box marked "provide an explanation to assist in processing this change".
Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, enter the same explanation for both credits. It should be something like "I am Susan E. Reilly, and I played this role, uncredited. The role was not played by the Susan Reilly who was in Coma (2007/I)." You should be able at this point to click "Submit these updates".
Check your e-mail soon after that to make sure you received your e-mail receipt. It should not take more than a minute for it to arrive.
Allow a few days for these corrections to go through.
If the two "Wicked Attraction" get correctly moved to your page at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm6734562/, that should resolve most of the problems we have been dealing with in this thread.
