I shot for a project a few years back and they sent me a link to a page they setup with the credit (here:http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4806035/?ref_=fn_al_nm_2). I'm now submitting my own film to fests through Withoutabox and it wants me to add the film to my IMDB page but I don't know how to access this page. I have an account I setup some years back (which I'm currently logged into to ask this ?) that is not tied to the above page. Is there a way to merge them? Thanks

Are you by any chance conflating your User Profile  with your IMDb Name Page?

When you register with IMDb, you create a User Profile that allows you to save display options, submit data updates and (with extra authentication) post comments on the various Boards. The URL for a User Profile contains a string in the format /user/ur9999999/ where the 9s are replaced with other digits. This is the equivalent of the profile page you created here on GetSatisfaction to be able to post here.

The page you linked is a Name Page, which is used to contain the credits and other data for one person. You will note that instead of the above string it has /name/nm4806035/.

These two pages cannot be merged as they are two very different things for very different purposes.

The Name page you linked is for  Ryan Ferguson (XI) . There are currently 10 other pages that refer to a Ryan Ferguson. If any of these also refer to you (and only you) then they can (and should be) merged so all your credits are on a single page.

I am not clear on what WaB is asking. However, I do know that once you have submitted a film to Festivals (or possibly when it has been accepted), WaB provides you with the option to add it to IMDb proper. In this case they would need to know which Ryan Ferguson you are. Are they perhaps asking you to make that explicit so the move can be done?

(I have not worked with WaB, so I am not sure exactly how it works. Sorry.)
