Have you been listed in IMDb previously for other credited work? How did your name appear on the page (and in the credits) and what appears there when you look at those titles' pages?

Have you subscribed to IMDbPro and created an empty page? What makes you think your name would appear when searched?

There are two ways to create a page. Most are created because the name appears in the credits of shows/films and someone adds that name to the Title's page. The second is to subscribe via IMDbPro's resume service which will let you create an empty page with photos and resume attached, to which you can add credits as they occur.

If you haven't created a Name Page and have never, until now, been credited in films/shows, they can simply add your name as credited on screen, plus any Roman numeral needed because someone of the same name already is listed (though this doesn't seem to apply), and a Name Page will be created.

Erik: If you were never listed before, whoever is adding your name to the credits should submit your name, then when they get a warning that your name is not in the database, they should select the option that says something like "This is a different person not currently listed - create 'Loong, Erik'."

Your name will show up in a search only after it has been listed in the database, and usually that occurs after you have received a credit on a title listed in IMDb.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Hi guys! Thanks, this helped a lot! Now I have my name in the credits and a page has been created with my name. How do I link my account to this page? Best, Erik

Do you mean you also have subscribed to IMDbPro? Go to the IMDbPro version of the Name Page in your name and click the "claim my page" button. Follow the steps to choose the correct name page (and be careful not to choose to create a new name page) and a link will be created to allow you to upload photos, add a resume page, etc.

If you don't have an IMDbPro subscription, there is no way to, nor need to, "link" the user account to a Name Page as other types of corrections/additions to the Name Page can be done from any regular User Account.
