I have printscreen evidence that there is a concerted effort by right-wing trolls in Greece to sink a documentary by left-wing ex-minister of Finance Yianis Varoufakis.

First of all, though, the ratings
As one can see, there is an inordinately large number of 1s.

Now, for the actual printscreens.

Any one who knows greek can confirm what I am saying here.

Do you know how I can forward this to an admin?

You just did. Administrators are here hard at work.

I speak Greek and can confirm that these messages incite people to give a score of 1 to the film (presumably without having seen it). Shameful!

Being a Greek I also confirm. That goes for the reviews too (the 24 first of them). All of them are short hate or support messages for Varoufakis. Not even one of the users seems to have seen the film or commenting on the film.

By the way, this is not a documentary, it's a political fiction-film based on real events (the Greek debt crisis).

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Film page attacked by trolls.

the film Adults in the Room ( is targetted by political trolls who rate it poorly, without of course having seen it (it comes out in a month, it's only been shown at Venice). The problem should be quite obvious in both ratings and poorly written reviews by new users who created profiles specifically for this reason (along with a few who do the opposite and rate it high).

I don't know what can be done about such things - maybe remove the rating option until at least it is released in theaters, reset ratings and reviews?

So, PLEASE do not weep the pillow off, because if start talking about bad reviews -- both sides involved. It is not a football match to speculate on equal number of players in both teams.

Since the ratings (ranks) are also mentioned, here is additional info:

All that can be officially said about voting is covered in the FAQ at

Here we also see the two extreme sides voting opposite to each other. But for your understanding, the Top 1000 voters should prefer no participation in such 'games', and their average vote is '4.0' that is lower than the whole rank for this title.
