After using mobile app on a tablet my desktop site is now in that format. There is no view full site link at bottom. I have resigned in, restarted system, and tried mode=desktop. Using both Firefox and Edge this still happens. Nothing returns it to the original desktop version that I prefer.Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: How do I get the imdb full site option?.

Hi CLC,

We've recently introduced a new IMDb.com homepage experience

We are open to your feedback and how the changes may be impacting your experience. Please don't hesitate to go into detail as we continue to monitor the thread.

I very much dislike the mobile version and only use it when I want to look up something quick while I'm watching. I was still getting the full view in my desktop browser and would often access it later to get more details. It was much easier to get information on specifics from that view. I also liked the current "news" being snapshotted so I could easily decide if I wanted to find out more. Would really like to see that included in the home page. I used to check IMDB first thing every morning to see what's up but now that info is buried too deep. A few trailers for upcoming things is all I want, not interested in lots of recommendations. Don't like top box office being front and center, nor do I care about fan favorites. I realize that most people are probably accessing the site on a mobile device and you need to tailor to that but it would really be nice to have an option for those of us who prefer viewing on a desktop. Or who want the full site view on their mobile device, I don't see that option on my tablet either. For me IMDB is about the deep information I can find and I still appreciate that aspect of it. It just seems to take more work to get to it now.

Hi there!

Most of your users aren't over 60, needing a horrible Windows Vista-inspired desktop layout. Please provide an option to choose to go back to the previous interface.
I love using IMDB for all my movie-related information but also for pure boredom. But now when I type in IMDB without even noticing (as one does), I get this horrible UX shoved in my face and close the tab immediately. So it seems you are not anymore welcoming those customers who have been using IMDB to have a random browse around the movie world. All information has to be searched and you can't just go to your homepage and start having fun anymore.

I do hope you take action as this website has been my most used site for over 10 years and now the changed experience is (subconsciousy) off-putting to use.

Still, thanks for the whole IMDB team for existing in the first place ;)

Yes, the new page sucks.
But after a while you'll get used to it.
It actually has a couple of features I like.
