On March 2nd I added my film credit for the feature film "Hidden Figures" and it has not shown up yet, as I see other credits showing up for other actors.  This is a major speaking role.  IMDb update receipt #160302-081351-833000. BluesmanSF or other please assist me!

Hi Ron -

Our records show that the credit update has not been accepted, which means that our editors were unable to verify it and need further information/additional evidence.

If you have screen grabs to help verify your credit, please post them here and our staff will take a look.

Hi Michelle,
I was cast over two weeks ago on "Hidden Figures" as "White Cop," an integral principal role with four pages of dialogue, with characters played by stars Octavia Spencer and Taraji P. Henson.  I was fitted for wardrobe, received my full script, and am shooting this vital scene on 3/22/16.  Of course I do not have a screen grab, because I'm shooting it next week, and any producer or casting director connected to Hidden Figures will verify this.  This is exasperating.  No actor should have to go through this to simply have his credits appear accurately on IMDB.  What am I supposed to do?  I worked with one of the producers on "Hidden Figures" in a good role on "Parental Guidance" where he was Executive Producer.  He will verify my role in this film.  Is it up to me to ask him to contact you and verify my role?  I have my full script I can show you, but what would that prove?  Would you please help me with this?  In a week I'll have my call sheet.  Not having this credit added right now is hindering my career. Please do whatever you can.

The credit is live now.  Please be careful when submitting future updates -- it was rejected because you told us that your character name was "Actor" when you are not playing someone called Actor and nor are you playing an actor in the movie.  If you are uncertain of the final character name, please leave that field blank when submitting, thanks.

Thank you so much Michelle and Col Needham for clearing this up for me..  I will be specific from now on regarding my character's title, which is "White Cop." My apologies for any confusion I caused by not submitting correctly to begin with.
