I want to use my lists as a method of organizing my movies. So when I want to watch a movie with, say, a father and a son, then I would like to see all the movies in my list that have the keyword: father son relationship. I can refine my list but genre, and release year, but I would really like to refine it by keyword. This feature would be really nice.

If you only want to restrict to a single Keyword, you can do this by using the Advanced Search. To get there, change the All in the search bar to Advanced Search, then click the Advanced Title Search text link.

TheĀ  Keyword entry box is about halfway down the page, and the option to restrict to your list is at the bottom.

In addition to David's response, you can also restrict to multiple keywords, but with some particularities:

1) If you're filtering your Watchlist, then you can select several keywords to refine your search easily:

2) Unfortunately, this feature isn't available (I wish it were) for other user-created lists, and the method explained by David is the only way of getting a single-keyword-filtered list. However, you can make a single keyword search and then tweak the URL by simply adding additional keywords separated by commas. Note that keywords must be correctly worded, it is without spaces (in your example, "father son relationship" would be "father-son-relationship").

One example: Suppose I want to get the movies in a personal list that have the keywords "dog" and "father-son-relationship". Following the steps in the Advanced Title Search you get a first filtered list (by "dog") (234 titles):

Look at the URL which has generated the previous results:

Now you only have to add a second keyword (or more if you want to).

Original URL:

Modified URL:

And here are the final results (by "dog" and "father-son-relationship") (98 titles):

P.S. I must say that, apart from my Watchlist, I have no other user-created lists. Hence, I've used a list (ls006678484) of 1,053 titles I've randomly found on the site.
