Declined, but they're not my review texts!!!

I have just been having a look through my list of contributions, and I note that on the 29th September 2018 I submitted reviews for the movie "Dr Strange" (2016), each of which were declined on the basis of "Could not verify".

On clicking "View contribution details" I notice on each that the text of the review... IS NOT MINE! I *never wrote* what seems to have been declined!

Obviously, you have managed to mix up my contributions with someone else's as they are not my style of writing and I would never use some of the language seen therein.

Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of my original submissions so, if IMDB can't sort out the mix-up, then it seems my time and effort has been wasted!

Hi Daniele,

I've taken a look and it looks like you submitted that both of these reviews submitted by other users were spoilers for the movie, however neither of these would constitute a spoiler in terms of IMDb's definition which is why the submissions were rejected.

I hope this helps to explain.

Oh I see. Thanks for that. My mistake.
It’s a bit misleading though. Perhaps there should be a definitive distinction?
