The composer Kim Planert has written additional music for all episodes of ABC's Castle 5th season and only IMDB pages of episodes 1, 8 and 9 have his name listed under "Music Department/Composer/Additional Music". Other additional writers of the same show have their names listed on all 5th season's IMDB pages.
Robert Duncan's staff, Kim's agent, Kim himself and I tried submitting these credits over the course of 2 years without any success. Kim has been collaborating with Robert Duncan since Castle's season one, now they are working on season 7.
Since there are no credits on screen for the additional music composers, I have submitted cue sheets to IMDB, as it is the most official evidence of Kim's contribution. So far, no feedback or positive results.
I just read on http://www.imdb.com/help/search?domain=helpdesk_faq&index=1&file=resumemail&ref_=hlp_sr_...
that requests sent through the help desk, along with attached evidence, may take several months to be analyzed. In order to check how it would go, on 09/16/2014 I edited again Castle's episode 502 page, adding Kim as additional music composer, uncredited. Immediately after, I went to the help desk and submitted a link to a dropbox folder with the complete episode cue sheet with highlights on all Kim's name occurrences as well as the ID of 502's page edit.
There must be a way to solve this. Please enlighten us.
I appreciate your attention. Looking forward for IMDB team's directions towards a solution.
Thank you,
Gabriel Dib
