CREDIT PLACEMENT ISSUE

Hello it seems like my credits are out of date order for my 2013 credits currently they are listed as:

Rev 13                         2013
Parts of Disease          2013

We completed Rev 13 in February of 2013

and

We completed Parts of Disease in July/Aug of 2013

I was wondering if you could please switch the order to

Parts of Disease          2013
Rev 13                         2013

to make the Rev 13 credit the older of the two.

Thanks a lot for all of your help.

Robert

IMDb titles format displays the date released and they should fall into that order.  It cannot be manipulated.  All titles in the database go by the same format.  While a "completed" date can be added to the pages for titles, they do not affect the order or the title format.

Robert: I agree with Bluesman. Specifically, the films are listed in the order of their first release date anywhere. Parts of Disease has a vague release date of "2013" listed at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2076916/releaseinfo, and Rev 13 doesn't have any release date listed at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3359308/releaseinfo at all. So Parts of Disease is treated as having been released first ... but really, neither film has an adequate release date listed.

I recommend submitting the specific release dates for each film to the database if you have them.

What exactly do I have to do submit the specific release date? Rev 13 was completed in February of 2013 and was released in May of 2013. Parts of Disease was completed in Aug of 2013 and was released in November 2013.

Thanks,

Robert

Go to the respective pages linked in my post above (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2076916/releaseinfo and http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3359308/releaseinfo) and ciick "Edit page".

On the next screen, on the Release Dates line, for Parts of Disease, select "Correct/Delete" and for Rev 13, select "Add 1 item". Click "Continue" in either case.

For Parts of Disease, select "Correct" (instead of "Keep") in the drop-down box under "Action". Click "Check these updates". On the next screen, supply the month (and day if possible) of the release. Make sure to provide an attribute in the Attribute box to indicate where or how the film was released. Click "Check these updates". If you get warnings on the next screen, hopefully you can acknowledge and bypass them, but I don't know what they would be so I can't advise you specifically. But if your data appears with a green background, you can click "Submit these updates".

For Rev 13, select the appropriate country in the drop-down box, provide the release date where indicated, and supply an attribute in the Attribute box to indicate where or how the film was released. Click "Check these updates". Again, hopefully on the next screen your data should appear with a green background and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Hi.  I am reaching out to you for assistance.  I claimed my imdv page last night as part of my new Pro membership, mostly so as to repair, correct and update a bunch of my credits and history.  My name is Cain DeVore.  My imdv Pro id is:  caindevore-30-524827

Unfortunately, when I log on I get a page that is not built at all, my 'claimed' page only showing as something that I recently viewed.

Please help me address this issue so that I can continue working on my page, which I successfully added a photo to last night and did add some credits to.

Thanks!

Cain

Cain: I would recommend starting a separate discussion here on this Get Satisfaction message board. This is a very different issue from what Robert is asking about, and unfortunately I don't have the advice to solve your problem, so someone else will have to help you.
