Credit Correction and Title delete

In the last few weeks I have made attempts at deleting incorrect credits from my page. Films that I have taken no part in other then maybe consulting. I also have credits that I have attempted to correct because they belong to someone else. There are also credits that I should have, that I do not have listed on my page. I have made attempts to have these either corrected, deleted, or added to no avail. I'm curious to know how I can have all of this information fixed. I understand that IMDB prides themselves on having the right information. I am only attempting to do the same as I prefer to not have worked listed that I never took part in. How can I fix this?

The first  question that needs to be asked is : Are you credited on screen for those films? If so, the credit will not be removed. IMDb always starts with the on-screen credits, and anyone who is listed there gets an IMDb listing. If you were credited for a position and actually did not do any work, IMDb may accept a (credit only) attribute.

I also have credits that I have attempted to correct because they belong to someone else.
In this case, you need to move the credits to the correct person. IMDb usually will not delete credits as the assumption is that somebody did the work, and it is harder to restore if it is actually removed. A secondary reason for the policy is that very often people try to removed valid credits they no longer wish to be associated with. The current policy makes it more difficult to hide valid credits.

There are also credits that I should have, that I do not have listed on my page.
What needs to be done depends on how these credits are currently displayed.

1) IMDb is title based, so if the project does not yet have an IMDb Title page, you need to submit it as a New Title, including your credit as part of the submission.

2) IIf the credit is listed as the sole credit on another Name page with the same name as you (or similar) you should submit a Name Merge request to have everything moved to your page.

3) If the name is shown on another Name Page that also includes other work that does not belong to you, then you should go to the Title page for the project and change the name in the credit to match yours so the credit will be linked to your page rather than the incorrect one.

4) If the Title page exists but your name is not listed in the IMDb credits, you can submit an Add correction. You may need to include evidence that you did the work, the best being a screen shot of your name in the credits. If you were not actually credited on screen, you need to include the (uncredited) attribute. In this case pay slips or call sheets can help is evidence is required.

Without more details it is difficult to give more specific advice.

To answer the first question. The films that I am seeking to have deleted from my page, I did not work on nor was I credited on screen for any of these works. Which I have stated in the evidence section.

The second question and response. I made the corrections on the films that have my name listed but someone else did the work. So I made the correction in the evidence section.

The final question and response is the two films that I am not credited for but should be are already listed on IMDB - It's two projects that I directed. One of which had me listed as director, but now no longer does, its just a blank credit. The other is also a correction, it has the wrong person listed as the director.

I did have one last question. How can you have a project removed entirely from IMDB? The film was never completed. The financing never became available. Only a trailer was only ever able to be released, and I believe that is why its listed on IMDB because of the trailer.
