I have an editor credit for Face Off and it ended up on a different profile under my name. How can I move that to my correct profile?

Short version, you'd go to the title, click "edit page" and choose to "correct" cast and crew, spelling the name as it appears now to how your name is spelled (including any Roman numeral assigned by IMDb) on the main page that lists your filmography, etc.

Are you listed as "Barry Bond?"

IMDb lists:

Barry Bond (I) (Editor, Deadly Revisions (2013))
Barry Bond (IV) (Editor, Face Off (2011))
Barry Bond (III) (Editor, Deadly Revisions (2013))
Barry Bond (II) (Self, Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew (2008))

Bond (IV) seems to be hold the credit to which you're referring. Is this true? Which page does it belong on? Does more than one page, other than this wayward credit, refer to you and your work or is this the only error you see?

I am (I), (II) and (IV). I have the same credit in (I) as I do in (III), so I guess (III) could be deleted. I just need to get (IV) over to (I). I'll try your suggestion. Thank you!

Whoa, whoa, whao...the reason I asked is because what the problem really is dictates the fix. Don't just move the credit, in this case, because it will leave a superfluous empty page (which could likely be given more credits meant for you or other folks).  This is why you should give all info when you post and not just bits and pieces.

So, the (III) page is another person, same name, also an editor, and that page has no data that refers to you?

This means that the 3 pages that are you need to be merged. One person should have one page. Having 3 implies there are three people of the same name.

Sorry, I mistyped. Page (I) is my page, and somehow credits were created on new (III) and (IV) page.

Page (II) is not me.

I don't know what all happened, but I have a duplicate credit for Deadly Revisions and page (III) could just be deleted. As far as the Face Off credit, it somehow was credited to page (IV) and it should be on page (I).

So, just to be clear, all data on (I), (Barry Bond (I) (Editor, Deadly Revisions (2013)) ), (III) or (Barry Bond (III) (Editor, Deadly Revisions (2013)) ) and (IV) (Barry Bond (IV) (Editor, Face Off (2011)) ), but nothing on Barry (II) refers to you?

It doesn't much matter how it happened, but in the case of Barry (III), it was likely added wrong, indicating only the name "Barry Bond" but no Roman numeral (at that time, there was likely already a (I) and (II) listed), and so it leaves them with guessing which one or creating a new page. So, the new page got created. Instead of being corrected, someone seems to have tried to add it to the right page and delete from the wrong page. So, that part was also submitted wrong. It should have been submitted as a "merge" (as detailed on the FAQ page You have two separate pages for the same person, how can this be fixed?).

So, pending your verification above, the pages should all be merged, leaving one page, Barry (I), with all data contained on one page and without leaving empty extra pages behind, which could only cause problems going forward. I can  assist with the merges if you just verify what I typed above.

Thanks!

Okay, thanks. I submitted to have them merged, as per the FAQ page link above. Just give it a few days to update and for all the pieces to fall into place. In the mean time, data/credits might disappear/reappear as it gets moved around...so don't let it make you nervous. It'll all work out eventually. The result should end up with only a Barry (I) and (II). It should help avoid confusion when adding new credits, so yours all end up on the page about you.

Thanks!
