Creating character pages and adding characters to existing character pages not working with attributes

Example: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3297634/fullcredits

With the example above, when I try to create a new character page by using the "Create a character page for:" drop-down menu, because the character names have attributes after them, they names are not displayed properly on the character page. For example, if I try to create a character page for "Superperson (segment "Behind the Lens - Writing: An Informative Guide")", the character's name appears on the create character page page as "Superperson (segment " (with a space at the end). I'm not sure what it would look like if I actually saved the page.

Another problem is that the character can't be added to an existing character page. I want to add Superperson as an alternative version of Superman on the Superman character page. However, when you edit the filmography for Superman and search for Superperson as an alternative name, this Superperson does not appear.

These problems seem to be caused by two things. Firstly, segment attributes for character work differently to other attributes (because they're added to the character's name). This allows you to specify different segments for different characters played by the same actor (rather than having to use one attribute collectively for every character), but, as you can see in the example, it does look rather messy, and clearly IMDb doesn't deal with the attribute very well. The other problem seems to be if the character is not first in a list of multiple characters played by the same actor. As you can see in the example, I didn't have as much trouble with characters first in the list.

Hi Matt -

Following up here, our technical staff confirmed that this is a known limitation of the character system. Unfortunately, for the time being we don't have any immediate plans to fix this shortcoming, sorry.
