Hi! Two of my contributions to the parents guide were declined, which left me quite confused. For comparison I took a closer look at other entries that have (obviously) been approved, and I just can't understand what I did wrong. Sure, I wrote about strong, sexual content and didn't try to sugar-coat it. But when the material in question is explicit then it seems perfectly logical that the descriptions should reflect that.

Two of the following five examples were my contributions (which were declined), but the remaining three are still to be found on your site. Spot the errors!

  • A woman gets on her knees and crawls toward a man and it is implied that he is receiving oral sex. He forces the woman's head off and we briefly see his erect penis (though it looks very fake).
  • Erect penises are clearly visible on some occasions.
  • A woman is seen putting her mouth on a man's crotch. She takes her mouth off, he ejaculates and semen is seen squirting onto her face. (The semen is obviously fake - probably cream).
  • A completely nude woman (her breasts, vulva, clitoris and buttocks are visible) is brought into a room where she is handcuffed to a bed. A man unzips another man's pants and his butt is seen. The man climbs onto the man and rapes the woman from behind. The man slaps her on the back repeatedly and the woman whimpers in pain.
  • Some rather graphic sex scenes involving prostitutes. Bare buttocks and bouncing breasts are clearly visible. No female genitalia or actual penetration shown.

Answer:

Examples number two and five were declined. Please tell me what makes them unacceptable when the other three examples have been approved of.

Hi kurtslater,

I've taken a look and those submissions are both valid for the TV series in question. If it is a submission for a parent series (as opposed to the episodes) then the parental guide submission should relate to the series as a whole, which yours does. Please can you resubmit the items and provide the submission references? That way I can make sure those get approved.

Thanks,
Will
