Hi. People keep putting incorrect cast information on the "Game Over, Charles" episode of Pretty Little Liars. They keep adding characters like Wren on there when it's not true, let alone has it ever been confirmed. Is there a way to stop this?? Every time someone takes the incorrect names out, people keep going in and editing it. Please help!!!

I don't see a "Wren" listed. Could it be the credit appears on screen but the character doesn't appear in that particular episode (see the credit for the character Ashley)? If so, it should not be removed but an attribute for "(credit only)" should be added.

Hey, I am actually seeing someone posted that Tom Marin is Charles Dilaurentis.  And that Sydney is DeDe drake, CeCe's sister.....  Its annoying and I don't feel that ANYONE should be able to go in and change anything at all.  The writers of the show should be the only ones, THRU IMDB, that change their information on their show information.  Unless it is the writers doing it to mess with people.

Writers of shows probably do not sit around entering data on IMDb. Some of them have probably never even been on IMDb or at least would not know how to submit data. By your rules, the site would only have a small fraction of the data. Further, if they made a mistake or entered based on preference rather than being true to the on screen credits (which are not determined by writers) you and I would not be able to make corrections. So data would be more and more inaccurate.

I don't know the show so I can't help you much with those items. Have you looked carefully at on screen credits to make sure the items are in fact false?

(I don't watch the show, but I think I understand the complaint.)

Has IMDb accepted some cast edits that were submitted with false evidence or without evidence?

Obviously, most users (not involved in production) cannot provide evidence of "on-screen" credits for episodes that have not yet aired.  Alternative sources of (published) preliminary evidence might include official announcements or legitimate news sources, I suppose.

IMO, ideally, IMDb editors should aim to reject submissions that are not supported by acceptable evidence.

submissions are accepted based on the most accurate evidence available. if and when accurate evidence is supplied, further changes would not be allowed.

imdb policy is to be as inclusive as possible while also attempting to be accurate but it is an open system that anyone can contribute to.

episodes that have not even aired yet are obviously going to be inaccurate to some degree, there's almost no reason to even care until proof can be submitted
