Trying to find the title of a comedy told as a narrative from a man trying to write a novel, working as a temp agent.

He works different jobs - at one job, there's an assistant in the office who makes a wind sound every time she passes.  She'll walk by a doorway and there's a wispy wind sound.

He has a task to transcribe an audio tape.  His only responsibility for the day, he procrastinates and finally starts at the end of the day; only immediately fails on the first sentence on the tape, rewinding back and forth to understand the audio.

At one job, his boss tells him to spend one day a week working on his novel.

He has a disk he carries between jobs, trying to use the office computer to write his novel.

Movie is told from his perspective, providing narrative like an autobiography.

Anyone recall this movie?  Thanks.
