I would be interested in viewing the filmography on an actress - just sorted by date, not by category.  Is this possible?  If so - how please and if not - can I suggest it please?

Hi, Charles:

Of course there's a way to do it. Let's take the page of Jodie Foster as an example:

On the right side of the page, under the heading Quick Links, click on Explore More. An extended menu will show up:

Click on by Year to show Jodie's filmography sorted by release date:

Please note that you can also filter these results by selecting different options from the Refine menu at the top of the page.

Hope it helps! Alegre

Thanks for the hint, it's better than nothing.  But it's still not very user friendly.  Takes at least 3 clicks to get to the list, and then it lists every single credit individually, including every TV episode that the actor appeared in.  And it only lists 50 at a time.

Why can't we have the option to list credits they are in the mobile app?  In the browser version, Actress is separated into Actress: TV; Actress: Movie; Actress: Short, etc.  Same thing with actors, directors, etc.  But in the iPhone app, they're all combined into Actress.  That's MUCH easier to use if you're trying track someone's career down the years.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but wasn't it the same way in the browser version a long time ago?

Anyway, I'd like to suggest that IMDb give us the option to display acting credits the same way that they're displayed in my iPhone app.  According to the Contact Us page, I'm supposed to post feedback here in the forum.  Is replying here good enough to post this request or should I start a new topic?  Thanks.

Found it! Go to Site Settings for your account, then uncheck the "Display credits separately for Movie and TV" box.

So, did I not notice it before or was it just added (or restored) after I posted this suggestion?  :)
