CLOSED CAPTIONS!

I would love to enjoy the interviews and "what we know...so far" and other original videos that IMDB posts, but I'm hard-of-hearing and I need captions. I'm not sure I've *ever* seen captions on an original IMDB video. It's easy and cheap to do. For example, rev.com will caption your videos for $1 per video minute. (I don't work for them but I've used them.) I just watched an interview with the creator and cast of Jojo Rabbit and couldn't understand a LOT of was said. It would cost only $12 to caption this video. Please add captions. Always. Thank you.

Furthermore, you're a movie site. There are movie trailers everywhere. They don't have captions either, even though the same trailers do have captions on other sites. My workaround is to go watch them somewhere else.

As a filmmaker, I second this post.  We put a lot of time, effort and a bit of money into creating excellent closed captions to all our customers can enjoy our film.  I just uploaded a trailer for our film and there's no ability to add optional captions.

So the problem is that the platform doesn't support it. I suspected as much because of the trailer issue. They really need to fix that!
