Dear imdB- Team,

currently the ratings for Netflix' series "Hollywood" are open for everybody although the series hasn't premiered yet. It would be fair for to the show (and the audience) to delete the already existing ratings and close them till May 1st.

Thx alot
Nils

There was a special pre-screening.
IMDb counts these as release dates.

thx for the info but tbh every Netflix' series got a spezial screening before the release. The NDA is set for April 29th. I don't think those people really saw it yet

This cannot be confirmed or denied.
But thanks for the information.
Votes are made in anonymity. So no one can truly make the statement that those voters were not present.

Of course it's not possible to tell but since any kind of reviews are not allowed till then, I don't think they should be on there either. I have visited one of the previews and I can't imagine one of them to give such a rating.
I think its a pretty bad start for a series when users go to imdb on release day and only see 5 star ratings that might be fake.

Reviews are allowed by IMDb at the time of release. The NDA is irrelevant here. As the voters and reviewers can be anonymous, there is no way to determine who's who.
This subject need not go further. IMDb will not remove these. In a few days it will not matter. It will premier. I will watch it, not because of the reviews or the ratings. But because it is an interesting premise. Reviews and votes mean nothing. IMDb voters are not very reliable anymore.
I like your name by the way!!! That was my Grandfathers name. Nils! He emigrated from Norway with his parents at age 12 in 1910.....

Thanks for that Background Story :). And yes I guess we'll have to see. It's nice that you are going to watch it despite of the reviews. Sadly many of the people I know use that votes as a go-to.
