I know, everyone is entitled to their opinion, even malcontentuous uneducated ones seen thru rosey colored glasses, but I gotta say this;

"Die Tard" is NOT an xmas film, it's just another tired 80's POS shootout/explosion crapfest with terribly awful writing/directing/acting (Bruce Willis IS absolutely one of the WORST actors who's ever gotten away with puking out some real awful films and who's massive "I'm such a great godlike d-bag" ego far, far, far exceeds his "talent"!) and his films always have tons of ugly people thrown in (why do they ALWAYS cast such "ugly" women to be Bruce's characters "wives" or "ex-wives"? except in "Unbreakable"),oh, I know why, they can't have ANYONE better looking than Bruce and his ego in a Bruce film, it may take away from mindless kids/people talking about HIM, which would deflate his massively thin-skinned wannabe tough guy ego! And just because an office xmas party was thrown in the film, it doesn't exactly count as an xmas film at all, especially since it was a Bruckheimer "film", no offense, but he's not exactly an Xmas person, salom!

Plus, I worked for a number of years in the financial world here in Manhattan back in the 80's and 90's pushin' pencils, so I can speak from experience and say that I didn't know ANY gajillion dollar corporates that would ever throw their xmas parties in their own offices where their expensive equipment and/or furniture/decor may get wrecked or ruined or possibly stolen, or where some sort of paperwork might fall into the "wrong hands" or have drinks spilled on them, or drunken people who could pose a security problem, which IS why companies usually use a big ol' empty conference room and make sue all other doors are locked tight, they are never held right in the center of their operations, as portrayed in that awful film.
Most co's I know of and worked for would just go rent out a hall or rent out a nice sized restaurant for everyone, and NO, not a Micky-D's or Chucky Cheese, or one of the board members would hold it at their apartment or luxury penthouse or even at their own "bougie" mansions!

If anyone thinks that crapfest of a film is an xmas movie, they are obviously NOT a christian or catholic, so have fun spinning your dradle!

Home Alone 1 was kinda funny at times, part 2 was terribly unfunny and 3 was even worse and more forgettable, as was it's lead kid actor who's long forgotten, well, because he just couldn't act well!

Sorry, I hadda get that off my chest!
Merry Xmas Mo-Fo's!

MR. DJ METAL, sir, I hate to be the one to correct you, but the word "HARD" in "DIE HARD", is spelled with an "H", not a "T", you follow me?  And besides which, it was on the list with all the other films, and it happens to be one of my favorite films, and so I chose it.  So please do me the courtesy of not "busting my chops", okie-dokie?  LMAO!

The original "Charlie Brown Christmas", Any of the Rankin/Bass xmas themed productions such as; "Frosty the Snowman" (the original one, not the terrible remake with John Goodman),
"A Year without a Santa Claus",
"Nestor the Christmas Donkey"
and of course "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer",
it's NOT xmas season till you've seen that one come on the TV!

The rest of the so-called xmas films are all just Hollywood's twisted and distorted bastardized formulaic garbage of what THEY want you to think xmas is all about!

While some xmas films were funny, at times, here and there, they were all based upon the same formulaic script with only the names changed and some xmas decorations thrown in!

Hollywood hasn't churned out a good, originally thought up film in DECADES and instead chooses to keep on puking out the same tired trash with whomever is sort of popular that month, and it's just pathetic and nauseating!
