Changing roman numerals to take vacated roman numerals

First of all, I completely understand that roman numerals after a name hold absolutely no bearing on the importance of the person within the industry, and are purely assigned based on the order the people joined. That being said, if someone with a (II) after their name has changed their name on IMDB, and (II) is now completely unused for that name (you can't even look it up in the database), is there any way at al that the remaining people with (III) or higher can have their numbers dropped to lower numbers? I also ask because there are only four people with my name and yet the fourth person's number is VIII, so I think bringing down the numbers would really simplify it.

While this is not the answer you are looking for, my understanding is that IMDb will reuse a roman numeral that has been left vacant for over a year. But in that situation, they could give that vacant roman numeral to the next person entered in the database under that name -- they wouldn't re-number the other people already listed with higher numerals.
