Cast credits not appearing

I recently added a short film to the IMDb database. Everything seemed to go very smoothly. Even my poster was up in just over 24 hours. The problem is that the cast list still isn't up.

Admittedly, I only sent the info through about a week ago, but ALL the other information went through, and all very quickly. Even the "camera operator" credit went through within a few hours, and if they can verify THAT then they should be able to verify the cast.

In fact, Ii added a two whole new people to IMDb without any issue at all.

The cast list only contains two people, both of whom are mentioned on the website and on the page for my film.

So why are they not coming through on IMDb?

I'm wanting to promote the film, but I want to have the cast mentioned on IMDb before I start sharing the page.

Any ideas?

When a Submission is made to the update system, the credits are sent to different queues depending on the occupation (in fact, Cast is split into 2: Actor and Actress). These various queues are processed at different times by different people, and what happens in one will have nothing to do with what happened in another. Therefore it is not unusual for, say, a Camera operator credit to  be processed earlier than Cast credits (or later, for that matter).

Since you did not include any details, I cannot actually check on this particular case. However, according to the Data Processing Times page, Cast (non-TV) has only been processed to 11 May 2015, so anything submitted later than that may still be awaiting processing.

Note that if credits are added as part of a New Title submission, they are held aside until the Title gets approved, and only then are they added to the various queues. Therefore, in that case you should consider the day the Title page first appeared as the 'submission date' for the credits when checking the Processing times.
