Can't get a place of birth changed, even though I have proof.

OK, a while back (two months ago), I found an interview for the actress Annabella Sciorra  https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001711 at http://www.newsday.com/entertainment/theater/annabella-sciorra-brooklyn-to-broadway-1.2820869  where she specifically states that she was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and was NOT born in Connecticut as it states in her IMDB bio. I sent in an update and it was rejected stating: "Your contribution has been declined. We did not capture a specific reason during processing.".

So, I contacted the helpdesk to ask why as I believed this met the requirement.  https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/why-this-contribution-of-an-update-for-a-place-of-birth-rejected and one of the IMDB employees wrote and agreed with me and said he would resubmit it.  That was a month ago, and her profile still hasn't changed birth places.

So, if this place of birth will continue to be rejected, can I get an answer why?  Because I've studied the requirements and as far as I know, it shouldn't be.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry you received that information; a personal interview with an individual is not valid evidence for a birthdate and this change won't be accepted. Please review our help site page for the types of evidence we're looking for.

I checked.  It states "We are looking for links to public records, printed publications, or official documents.".  It says nothing about a personal interview and I am not adding a date of birth, just a place of birth.  I can understand a date of birth as some actors are willing to fudge the age, but a place of birth shouldn't be a reason to change.
