Hi movie lovers,
wouldnt it be great to browse movies and exclude all the movies which are already in your watchlist?
if there would also be the option to pick genre, sort by year/rating etc it would be a great way to find movies you haven ́t seen yet, overlooked or simply forgot about!

sorry if this is possible already in any way,but i ́d just love it and didn ́t find it myself here :)

Yes, the ability definitely does exist in IMDb.  It is very obvious once you learn about it, but can be tricky to find the first time.

It is called Advanced Title Search.

You can get there by selecting Advanced Search from the dropdown in the IMDb Search Bar (normally this shows All.) On the resulting page click on the text link Advanced Title Search.

You can restrict the search by Title, Genre, Release Date range, and many other choices. Near the bottom of the page is the ability to exclude titles already in any of your lists (including Watchlist). Or you can use this to select titles only in one or more of your lists.

Note that you can select more than one list  by using Control+right click.

Hope this helps.
