Where is your first list so that I don't dupe any entered with these suggestions. With out that knowledge, I shall venture forth in uncertainty anyway.
I'm pretty sure you have already used "The Wizard of Oz" (1939).
- "The Secret Garden" (1949) Most of the movie is in Black and White. However, the film fallows the analogy that is in the book, and that is as the garden comes back to life, so do the characters come back to life from the emotionally dead place they were in at the start of the story. The whole story begins with a lot of death, grief, hurting, and self doubt. The characters have to come back to life from out of the dark places they are in at the start of the book. Therefore, the scenes inside the garden turn to color as the garden begins to grow again.

- the orginnal 1927 silent film version of Cecil B. DeMille's "The King of Kings" has the resurrection scene in three strip full Technicolor. I believe it was the first time it was used in Hollywood. Previous films, like "The Phantom of the Opera" (1925) (the intro and masquerade party"), used two strip technicolor for some scenes.

The first part was posted by napierslogs.and not me. I have added the link in the list description. For your information, here it is-

http://www.imdb.com/poll/E9jmfzQ06e0/

Initially I had added the obvious choices like Schindler's List, Wings of Desire or even The Wizard of Oz. But since I planned to make the 2nd part, I removed those overlapping choices. Let me know if there are any other suggestions/ corrections.

Thank you!

I know that you are not considering documentaries but this one was exceptional in how it used it's color scenes offset the black and white scenes in showing the ruins of the concentration camps today as to what on there in WW2.. Night and Fog (1956) (Short). This was the first film to take on the subject and the rest are still trying to match it's impact.

If it is that much impactful, I would consider adding it. Besides this is not a list about 'Meta-movies' where I couldn't add the documentaries.

A new current one to add for your consideration, "Baby Driver". The movie is so new I can't consider a spoiler here. I'll simply write this: Baby daydreams of his mother standing by an old model car (not an old car, big difference). The daydreaming is in black and white while his memories are in color.
