"Lieder so schön wie der Norden" (1990)

tt10368704

I recently added four episodes for the above program.

Each episode has two hosts and 15 musical performers, most of whom were not on IMDB already.

When I added a new name, IMDB assumed a two (or three) word name consisted of first and last names.

These are some examples -

Can I modify the entries so that names are more accurately represented?

Hi Graham -

I can see that the names are properly formatted in the cast list for the series:  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10368704/

If I understand your request, you are requesting that the formatting display in the Update form recognize the performers with their complete name (ie. "Mühlenhof Musikanten" instead of "Musikanten, Mühlenhof"), is that correct?

That's correct.

If the performers were sorted alphabetically, it should look like

Marion und Wolfgang’
Tony und die Strandpirate
and not

Strandpiraten, Tony und die
Wolfgang, Marion und

Graham: Don't "De" in "De Plattfööt" and "Die" in "Die Zwie" both mean "the"? If so, those names ought to be inverted as they have been.

Just as I would expect "The Beatles" to be formatted as a name in IMDb as "Beatles, The", I would expect words that mean "the" in other languages to be treated similarly.
