Hi! An article was just published for "Fairfield", a film I worked on, and it mentions my name but doesn't link to my profile. Here's the permalink: http://www.imdb.com/news/ni57776398/. Would it be possible to link it manually? I'm listed in the database as Chris Bellant. Thanks!

I believe the system only automatically links to people/titles that are visible in the portion displayed in the portion that shows on the portion on the IMDb page.

I am not sure if IMDb will link to people mentioned in the portion only visible on the other site or not.

You can either wait for an Employee to respond here, or you could submit a request to link to your name.

The request is done by clicking on Report a Problem, and filling out the form. Be sure to include your name asĀ  recorded on IMDb and preferably also the n-constĀ  of your name page (in your case nm2997266). Note that it can take several weeks for the Help Desk to get to your request, so you need to be patient.
