The Valentine's Days episode for The Kids Are Alright features some clips of late night standup from Rodney Dangerfield and Henny Youngman. Interestingly enough, the (archive footage) (uncredited) addition of Henny Youngman was accepted but Rodney Dangerfield was not. So, I submit this picture showing that Rodney Dangerfield actually did appear. (Technically, this could be a movie connection as it is a late night show but given this is set in the 70s, a lot of episodes don't exist in the database and just going on appearance would be impossible to determine the source.)

This has been correctly rejected because it is ineligible, please see the “No degrees of separation” rule on https://help.imdb.com/article/contrib...

Just in case anyone is interested, that Dangerfield on the TV screen is from The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson . You can tell that because of the curtains in the background. If your looking for a connection.

Was thinking about it and any one of his appearances during that period would qualify. Complete date accuracy is not an issue. Just that it is correct with respect to the show that it originates from.

When it come to the 60's and 70's US television, Impossible is not really a term for me.

Unlike your "no degrees of separation", this cannot be identified as a movie connection because the episode is unknown, as I stated in the original post.

This is exactly what is shown. It is footage of an unknown, unidentified production.

If not, please identify the source of the footage so we can add the connections.

I would suggest you do the same and you would see why this does not apply.

We have updated the guide text to change "film" to "title" as it was never intended for this policy not to apply to TV-shows. It's just a case of an ancient guide surviving many reviews without anyone noticing that by "film" we mean any title and there's no special case for TV-shows. Thanks for helping us clarify this.
