I have made an edit (190921-135805-404000) and in contribution history I can see it as approved, but it's not reflected on the website. Why is that the case

I'm sorry, I wrote a reply and didn't realize you had posted the contribution number already, that's why I deleted my original answer (it wasn't really helpful).

Hi XY -

I can see that the episode cast credits for "The Family Man" you submitted have been approved and are listed on the site: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3192510/

@Michelle It's not listed. It shows entries for "JK Talpade" and "Jk Talpade".

If it is not supposed to be the character name of JK or Jk Talpade, then what is the correct character name?

The character's name is indeed "JK Talpade" but my point is there should be consistency in the name across episodes. Some episodes use "JK" (capital case K) while other episodes show "Jk" (small case K). it should be same.

Not IMDb's issue.
It was whoever entered it in the submission process.
If you have noticed a submission was made by me to correct the mistake made by the person that submitted the credit to IMDb the first time.
