The FAQ from the Get Satisfaction-IMDb thread is confusing me as to how to post a link of a list into the description. Can anybody show me what exactly I need to type in the description?

Welcome to the poll board Cody!

The link you provided in your poll suggestion comes from two different urls. One goes to Get Satisfaction, the other to your imdb list, so put together it doesn't work. The relevant part would be this, I think: [Link=<code alt="" title="" name="" value="" type="" target="" rel="">].

Hi Cody Fairless-Lee,

It's probably easiest to explain this using an existing poll as an example:
IMDb Poll Board Favorite Live Poll - Part 2

There are two links you need to consider:
  1. The link to the list
  2. The discussion link
This is the link to the list. This link should be included in the first post of a thread:

The discussion link is included in the list. It links back to the thread suggesting the poll. In the case of this poll the discussion link would be:
[link=]Discuss here[/link]
= = =

I noticed that you attempted to suggest a poll in this thread:
Poll Suggestion: Most Anticipated Movie of Fall and Christmas 2019!

This should be the link to the list, which you would include in your first post:

If you simply paste the link to the list, Get Satisfaction should automatically make the list clickable.

I'm assuming you deleted your list when Ed posted that he had already made this suggestion. If you list still existed, you would include this text for your discussion link:
[link=]Discuss here.[/link]
Once you save the edit to your list, you should see this:
Discuss here.
