Anybody else wish they could hide comments on IMDb?

I wish there were a way to hide/block comments on the IMDb page.  I come here for movie news and if I ever get distracted for one second by user comments I'm immediately reminded why websites shouldn't have comment sections.

Hi Damon.
What page are you referring to?
Thanks.

New articles, mainly, but I’d like to hide user reviews too.

Damon,

Ed asks about the link to a sample page where you encounter this, do we can judge by ourselves.

Also, which interface are you using? I use mostly the website reference view and I do not feel I am exposed to such a situation, since news and reviews are on different pages.

And also: what do you mean by comments?

Damon go here
https://www.imdb.com/preferences/general
At the bottom there is a box in the contributors section.
It says reference view.
Check the box.
Select Submit.
It will get rid of all that noise on the page!
