  • Not a Problem
when i open the app there is a huge brightness increase on app. i use samsung s9 android 9.0. and i found that this may be related with samsung.

there is a hdr option in my phone. it've called 'video enchanter' or something similar. there is no option to turn it off per apps. it's turned on for all apps or the opposite.

in that list there is only video apps like vlc, netflix, amazon video, youtube. all video watching apps. normally, apps that shares only trailers like IMDb. it's main purpose is not watching movies.

anyway, as i said, IMDb app is max brightness all the time. and i don't want to turn off the hdr for all the apps. and a problem that affects all samsung apps that supports hdr. (video enchanter)

so, it's a problem with IMDb or Samsung? if a problem associated with imdb, can you fix it? if with samsung, then can the problem solved, with communication between imdb and samsung?

sorry, it's a bit long text.

Hi Yusuf,

Thank you for your post. I would also recommend reaching out directly to Samsung Customer Support but I've gone ahead and forwarded this information to our engineering team for further investigation.
