You should be able to use "advanced title search" so that you can find out what are the highest rated movies/TV shows for women 45+ ect. on this website. All the data already exists it's just a matter of adding the feature.Just a simple check system for sex and age groups just under user ratings.Seems dumb that this doesn't already exist.

It would be useful to select demographic information such as gender, age group and whether the person is from the US or outside the US as part of an advanced title search. This demographic information is available on the ratings page for each film, television production or other media.

If this feature is available in IMDb Pro, this may be an inducement to subscribe.

Although this demographic information is available for each title with at least five ratings, the coding for the database query may not be as simple as it appears.

Yes, it'd be well worth having those kinds of analytical breakdowns. I'm not sure I'd ever use it, but plenty of people will

This is an example of what would be possible. I used the ratings from the IMDb Top 250. This is tedious to compile manually.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Advanced search option - Top 1000 voters feature.

I want to find to films that are rated highly by top 1000 voters. Can't see such a feature in the advanced search option. Is there a chance you could add that? Thanks
