AFI Awards - wrong year

The AFI Awards mentioned are one year ahead! The 2013 are not known yet so Silver Linings Playbook, Le Miserables, Life of Pi and Zero Drark Thirty for example are Movies of the Year 2012

Not necessarily.

IMDb lists awards by the year in which they are presented rather than the year in which the films were released.

If you check the Submission Guide: Awardsyou will see that it includes the statement :
To submit an award you need to know the event name, the award name and possibly the award's category name if there is one. You further need to know the year, the award was given in, the ranking, i.e. win or nomination, and of course the recipient(s) and title(s) involved.
Note the phrase "year the award was given in".

If the presentation was in 2013, then that is the year that IMDb will use for those awards.
