This might be an unpopular opinion but I think adult films/porn should be taken off of IMDb. I think it belittles what we classify as movies. If you want a database for porn, why not create a separate website?

Adolph Hitler, Atilla, Stalin, and any Serial Killers I think should be taken off of all History. I think they belittle what we classify as a human beings. If you want a database for murdering dictators and serial killers, why not create a separate website?

Does this sound like it's childish?

Hmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!

I know you're being sarcastic but, my city has had:

At least 4 famous serial killers, (3 of which were born in the city, 1 who lived and killed here, and technically a 5th a one who worked here for a short while before murdering elsewhere)

At least 4 famous executioners (1 of which was born in the city, 2 of which lived here for most of their life, and the 4th who lived here for anywhere between 7 and 15 years depending what source you read).

And at one famous suicide bomber (with many many more attempted or suspected terrorists).

I updated a few of the documentaries they featured in recently, but I no doubt have at least 50 to 100 more to go. They've helped to increase the filming locations in my city massively, so I don't want them going anywhere. Same goes for pornstars.

Daniel Francis Gardecki, jokes aside, censoring the problem of serial killers and not showing them might actually be worse then media coverage they have in most countries, which many consider excessive.

Case in point: many classified serial killers in USSR, dozens upon dozens of them, especially in the 70's and 80's. Since people had little to no awareness (except for rumors in some cases) one might argue that actually increased numbers of victims exponentially. Official rethoric in the USSR claimed that serial killers are a strictly capitalist problem so they never quite fit in the whole system, despite very much emerging in the 1970's.

Three of the serial killers from my city also did their killings in the 70's, with all three of them overlapping at one point in the same year.

I found out about 2 pornstars from my city recently too, so there's a small possibility they might have filmed some stuff in the city. Only one of them seems to be prolific however. There's also a 3rd, although technically she's not a pornstar, she is or was a adult TV chatroom girl, who I found out about on Twitter 7 years ago, as she supports the my cities football team.

I can't remember what her name is, however I do have a few photos of her holding a flag of the football team (live on the adult TV channel) on my corrupted computer which Windows broke with their forced Windows 10 installation in October 2017. When I can be bothered recovering my 1TB+ worth of photo and video files 1 by 1 through the Microsoft paint program (the only program I can access, as it won't get past the loading screen to the desktop), I'll upload those photos to Google or Bing Images search, to find out who she is, then update her birth details on here if they're available online.

I think you can filter them out if you don't want to see them.

They are disabled by default, you have to select "Include" to see them.

Why did you switch them on Kelly?
You obviously did not?
Please take your agenda elsewhere.
Thanks

Morgan, with all due respect, that will be a sort of gatekeeping which will, ironically, open a floodgate of belittling a lot of other 'filmmaking ghettos' instated for littlest of reasons such as production types, budget etc. IMDb, so far, is a champion when it comes to being inclusive. A lot of websites exclude what they deem 'amateur', which oftentimes backfires in incomplete filmographies of celebrated filmmakers because converting from amateur to indepdendent or industry professional is rather vague. Even more so in the age of Internet. The funniest aspect of those amateur-excluding websites is that adult titles are considered professional by their standards, so interesting outsider artist work looses to direct-to-video adult title made in one day with no artistic merit anytime.

And yet, the problem is that excluding adult titles will automatically spark the question of what else could be excluded, while IMDb (in my humble opinion doing a superb job) actually expands eligibility criteria, fairly recently allowing music videos, web series and commercials to be added. Which is absolutely logical since: a) in a wider sense movie or motion picture refers to most of audiovisual media; and b) production-wise all of those have little to no difference compared to already-eligible short films.

Let's formulate it that way: if the only thing 'legit' production has to offer to the world is the fact that it's not and adult one, well... Adult titles being non-eligiblie won't fix that. And I've seen 'legit' productions which were less of a movie than some of the adult ones trying to play that exact card.

A lot of music videos feature big names which aren't singers/rappers/musicians/bands/deejays/composers.

I can think of a few rappers and deejays straight away who have big name actors, sportsmen, magicians etc in their music videos a lot.

As I said recently on one of my posts, I will be adding a lot of music videos eventually, however I haven't added any titles yet of any kind in any genre, as I always get side-tracked when I'm searching for links.

Right now I have roughly 60 or 70 tabs open, most of which have been open for a couple of weeks, because I'm constantly finding new stuff to add to Wikipedia or IMDB.

Just yesterday for example, I stumbled across 2 long running TV shows which were filmed in my city, and many other British towns and cities in 1987, which barely had any episodes added on here, and had no episodes listed on Wikipedia.

One was a music/travel based show, which was in a different location every week.

And the other was a religion/travel show, which was in a different religious building/buildings every week.

It's taken me hours just to add the 67 episodes for the shortest one of those shows, and finding out which series and order they should go in. I haven't even started on the locations yet, mainly because 2 of the episodes which were already added, had incorrect air dates, and incorrect series numbers, so I'm waiting for them to be moved.

The second show went on for 10 years, so God knows how many episodes will need to be added to that.
