Adding online article to news section of my profile

Dear IMDb community and team,

I currently have two articles in the news section of my profile.

For one of the publications, there is a more recent article that I wanted to add. I can't remember how I added the previous ones, but it seems impossible to add a new online article now.

I did read up that IMDb may automatically link up with news partners with a match in the name. I'm not sure if this publication is a news partner, and my IMDb name is not mentioned in the article, only the first name. But the article is clearly about me with mention of my works.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

Thank you

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us about this.

News items are linked automatically based on the names/titles featured in the text of the article.

If a news item on mentions your name or title but it's not linked from your page, please provide the exact link (permalink) to the article on IMDb Pro so we can attempt to link it manually.

Important: we need the link to the article within our news system e.g. (where XXXXXXXX is a number). We can't link directly to external sites.

You can search through news desk articles via the following link:

By selecting the necessary news desk partner on the left-hand side.

Please also be aware that we can't add news items that have not already been submitted by our newsdesk partners (even if they appear on their site), or link to names/titles that are not mentioned in the item extract that was sent to us.

If you're not listed by name in the article, you can always submit the news article URL to the Links to Other Sites section found under "Edit Page".

Thanks for understanding.
