Add to a list in Android app

Just switching to a Galaxy s6 from and old iPhone 4. I can't figure out how to add a movie to one of my previously created lists. The iPhone app had its own problems but I learned to work around them. I created a list because I didn't like the check-in feature. Anyway, now I can't for the life of me figure out how to add a movie to my lists. On the iPhone there was a drop down menu to select from or even more conveniently you could long press the watch list button which was awesome! I see some old conversations that talk about not having access to your lists but they're 2 year old convos. Surely this isn't still the case? Now you can navigate to the list but cannot seem to add, delete, or edit the list in any way. Is this true or am I missing something. Please help! !

I don't believe that there is any way to add a Title to your lists in the Android app yet. While the iOS app has had List capabilities for some time now, the Android app only got the ability to even view Lists a couple of days ago. There is still a lot of work to be done on that subsystem,

All I can suggest as a workaround for now is to add the Titles to your Watchlist while working in the App. Later, you can go to the main site, and move them to the List you want. The system has the ability to sort the Watchlist by date added, which will bring these latest additions to the top.

And when might we see this implemented? This has been dragging on for YEARS. PLEASE IMDB make lists actually useful. It took you guys 3-4 years to add lists to the Android app, and it has now been over a year since you've finally made it possible to view lists - can we please have the ability to edit/create lists and sort them? These are basic list management features. It's been implemented in iOS for years - why is your Android development lagging years behind?

Thank you for your answer. Such a shame this capability isn't available yet, but at least they seem to be working on it. And thank you for your suggestion about the watch list, which I believe I'll use.

I downloaded the app specifically because I thought it would make adding to my lists easier than the site only to find it doesn't feature this function at all. I will now uninstall it.

Guys I found my own way to do this in 3 seconds without leaving the app and here's how you do it:

- Scroll all the way down to the end of the page and you will see (more on IMDb.com).

-click on that and you will get the same web page on the desktop version without leaving the app.

-Now you just have to click on the add button and you will see all of your lists.

Quick, easy and you don't have to wait till 2050 for IMDb developers to add this feature to the app.

I added some pictures just to make it easier for you guys cuz I'm bad on explaining stuff to people :3.

Let me know down in the comments if that was helpful.

Basic functionality like curating lists seems still to be too hard for the imdb app developers. Perhaps they need to hire a new team that is competent. Pathetic.

This is kind of ridiculous. I bet there's some kind of monetary reason this hasn't been done. Because, if not, it's just plain dumb. I'll be using the website for now. I think I'm one step closer to dropping IMDB altogether for a competitor. Between the adds, skewed ratings, and this, IMDB just isn't the what it used to be. Amazon has really messed things up here.

In our latest release, we've added the ability to create and edit lists on Android. We will be adding additional features to list editing in early 2018.
