Actress voice credits in violation of rule #4

This Actress has credits that violate rule #4. Their work must be featured in either the original language version of the film or (for animated titles and videogames) on the USA English-language release (i.e. no dubbing credits)
She is a German dubbing artist for American and Japanese titles.
A full page audit is in order.
There are at least 200 or more credits that are ineligible.

Or, perhaps, since there is a whole fanbase for these actors that includes anime and comic con appearances, IMDB might want to consider adding a voice over section (as they do with editor, producer, etc.)

When an individual has a coherent thought and conveys it, what's there not to like about it.

Hi Ed -

Thanks for reporting, in general when you observe ineligible credits on the site it's best to request a removal of the credits through our online Update form so our editors can then review them.

However, in this instance, as there are hundreds of credits involved, I have filed a ticket for our editorial team to take a look.

Please include the information regarding the explosion of anime in America and the huge fanbase that turns to IMDB to see who the US VA is for these shows. The expansion of this industry has led to hundreds of anime conventions around the country, UK, Canada and more, wherein they book these actors to meet their fans. Many anime also list US cast onscreen. I also believe that there is an exception for this: https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/error-with-191002-041904-334000?topic-reply-list[settings][f...

As an example of fan interest in the actors who perform English VA work, here is how I was greeted in Brazil this weekend: https://www.instagram.com/p/B3hd9FhB-x9/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

@D.C. Douglas English voice actors can be listed in animated titles and videogames as (voice:English version), according to IMDb Guidelines. In fact, besides the original voice actors from the original non-English speaking country, the only ones that can be listed on IMDb are the English voice actors who were credited on-screen in the English version.
However, English dub of "live action" films are not allowed to be listed.
Here is the Guidelines:

Cheers!
