"so you want to be jedi?" can't find the line in Star Wars 1977

So Luke says; "I want to learn the ways of the force and become a Jedi like my father" Then I specifically remember Obi-Wan saying "So you want to be a Jedi?"
The only problem is I can't find any evidence of him saying it bar an internet article stating that it was Alec Guinness's favourite line of the movie, but not the actual line itself.
I'm very confused, any help would be great

The line he's looking for, "So, you want to be a Jedi?", is not on the page.

I checked english subtitle files for DVD and BluRay releases of that film
and there is no such line.

There were a number of changes made to the material from the Original Trilogy for the c.2010 digitally remastered Blu-Ray release.

The most obvious one is the inclusion of Hayden Christiansen's Anakin/Vader "ghost" along with Obi-Wan and Yoda's at the end of "Return of the Jedi," however there were many other minor changes - this was likely one of them.

Edit: After investigation, "So you want to be a Jedi" is NOT in the original version of the film either.
