"400 error" on series pages with lots of episodes

There seems to be a bug with series pages with hundreds/thousands of episodes.

Example: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083441/episodes?season=1

It always gives "400 Error"

Year selection still works but season selection just doesn't work.

I know I saw this error before with other similar titles too.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. Our display transitioned to year selections for this, there is no longer a season selection option.

But I still see season selection options which give 400 error when you click or select. Did you just make a change and it needs time to take effect or do you see a different version of the page as staff?

Anyway, it seems it's intentional so instead of a vague "400 error", giving an error that says something like "Season browsing is disabled for this title" would be more user-friendly imo, just a thought.

This is a terrible idea to have seasons only sort by years because for the vast majority of broadcast TV, that will mean you will get half of one season and half of another? Who thought this was what users wanted? I want to see series by season.

Or is this for shows that don't have traditional seasons but run daily/weekly year round like the David Letterman show?

After 3 days, I still see same page. Nothing is changed.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083441/... still has season links. The one I tried led to a 400 error.
